Holz als Haltung: Die Forststation im Zentrum von Deutschnofen wurde als kompakter Holzbau f\u00fcr die lokale Forstbeh\u00f6rde der S\u00fcdtiroler Landesverwaltung realisiert, und versteht sich als Ausdruck eines verantwortungsvollen Umgangs mit Ressourcen. Der Bauk\u00f6rper orientiert sich an den ortstypischen zweigeschossigen Wohnh\u00e4usern mit Satteldach, reduziert deren Typologie auf das Wesentliche und tritt in einen zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Dialog mit dem Bestand. Die Doppelfunktion des Baus als interne Verwaltung und \u00f6ffentliche Anlaufstelle ist klar organisiert: Nebenr\u00e4ume liegen im Untergeschoss, \u00f6ffentliche Bereiche im Erdgeschoss, ein Besprechungsraum im Obergeschoss dient bei Bedarf als Notfallzentrale. Tragwerk, W\u00e4nde und Decken bestehen aus Brettsperrholzplatten (XLAM). Die schwarz lasierte Holzfassade interpretiert \u00fcberlieferte Holzschutztechniken, bei denen erdber\u00fchrende Bauteile angeflammt wurden, um sie vor Feuchtigkeit und F\u00e4ulnis zu sch\u00fctzen. Davon inspiriert erscheint der Bauk\u00f6rper sinnbildlich wie in den Boden gerammt und \u00fcbersetzt \u00fcberlieferte Baukultur in die
